How to Left-Side Plank

Steps:

  1. Place your left elbow on the ground with your right hand along your right thigh. Extend your legs long, and lift your hips in the air so that your body is in a straight line as you balance on your left foot.

  2. Hold the side plank position on your left side for the specified amount of time. Keep your core strong by tightening your abs throughout the plank.

  3. Focus on keeping your hips level to the ground, not allowing them to tilt, drop, or 'sag' towards the floor.

  4. You should feel this exercise challenging your core, glutes, hip abductors, and shoulders.
