Steps:

Lie draped over a BOSU ball your right side with your legs stacked, right arm holding onto the ball and left elbow bent 90 degrees, with your left hand supporting the head.

Tighten your abdominals and obliques to crunch your rib cage toward the left side of the pelvis, drawing the left elbow towards the left side of your hip. Curl your rib cage as far as you can, and pause briefly.

Lengthen your torso, lowering towards the floor, returning to the starting position. Pause, and repeat for the specified amount of repetitions.

Be sure not to pull on your head as you perform the side crunch.

You should feel this exercise challenging your abs and obliques.
