How to Step Side Shuffle

Use a step, speed box, or another platform. Stand with one foot on top of the platform with a slight bend in your knees.
Pushing off with your outside leg, jump over the top of the platform landing with your opposite foot on top of the step. Immediately reverse the movement, rapidly spring back and forth as fast as you can.
Maximize the cardiovascular benefits of this exercise by pushing your body to the limit for the specified amount of time.
After you are finished with side shuffle intervals you should feel tired and short of breath with an elevated heart rate. Allow your heart rate to recover before beginning the next exercise.
