  1. Lie on your back with a weight in your hands and extend your arms straight, directly above your chest. Lift your legs a few inches off the ground. This is the starting position.

  2. Hold your legs in the air for the specified amount of time. Keep your abs tight, core engaged, breathing deeply.

  3. You should feel this exercise working your abs, hip flexors, quads, and core.
